Inaugurated in 2004 by Annabel Alpers in Christchurch New Zealand, Bachelorette is essentially Annabel Alpers, winningly mixing her psych-folk songwriting with retro electro pop production. Through 2001, she had four releases with Mistletone, Particle Tracks and Drag City, while touring internationally, but Annebel has most recently produced music under the name Hamerkop.
